Mappie 1.57, a maintanence release has been posted yesterday.
This release addresses some crash bugs in 1.56 as well as brings a new installer to the table.
The old install shield was starting to show it's age, and the msi based installer wasn't fully doing the job, not to mention the trial period expired. :rolleyes:
Mappie 1.57 is a web-based setup and will download components if it needs them. The install asks for your email, but this is only needed if you have registered. The emails are not collected, only validated.
1.57 addresses the new map download format.
Modular Mappie, Mappie 2.0, is still in the works but isn't ready for release yet. As such, this patch of the previous code base is released.
